Produced during the 1960s, Denby Echo reflects the growing popularity of textured decoration and natural motifs in mid-century tableware. The design features a soft matt blue glaze, decorated with a finely incised sgraffito leaf pattern that adds both depth and visual interest.

This technique, where the design is scratched through the surface to reveal the contrasting clay beneath, gives Echo its distinctive character and a slightly handcrafted feel.

The range was produced across a wide selection of items, including full dinner and tea services, coffee sets, cookware and serving pieces, making it a versatile and practical choice for everyday use.

Echo is closely related to Denby Ode, which shares a similar style and decorative technique but is typically found in a warmer, gold-toned colourway. While both designs were popular, Ode remained in production for longer.

Today, Denby Echo remains a sought-after discontinued pattern, particularly for those drawn to its understated colour palette and textured finish. As with many Denby designs of this period, availability varies depending on what becomes available on the pre-loved market.

We regularly source Denby Echo from the pre-loved market, so availability changes frequently.
