October Stock Update – Garden Maze, Red Peony, Florentina and More
Geposted von Mike Eley am

It has been a little while since our last proper stock update, so this one is considerably more substantial.
As well as completely new additions to the MrPottery catalogue, we have replenished quite a few existing listings. That means some familiar patterns have gained pieces that were previously out of stock, while others now have rather healthier quantities available again.
The standout this time is undoubtedly Wedgwood Garden Maze, with a sizeable collection covering everything from cups and plates to serving dishes, teapots and gravy boats. There are also good additions to Royal Worcester Red Peony, Royal Doulton Florentina, Marks & Spencer Red Damask and Denby Romany.
A few highlights
Wedgwood "Garden Maze" is easily the largest addition this time. We have added or replenished breakfast cups, tea cups and saucers, dinner, breakfast, starter and tea plates, several bowl shapes, a gravy boat and stand, milk jug, sugar bowl, teapot, oval platter and serving dishes. It is one of those arrivals that suddenly turns a fairly patchy collection back into a genuinely useful replacement range.
There is also an excellent group of Royal Worcester "Red Peony", including a teapot, milk jug, lidded sugar bowl, cups, saucers and tea plates. Rather conveniently, that means we now have most of the pieces needed to rebuild a tea service rather than simply the odd plate.
Royal Doulton "Florentina" has also joined the catalogue in some depth, with dinner plates, starter plates, tea cups and saucers. We recently wrote about its close relative Springdale, and that range has gained a teapot, milk jug and lidded sugar bowl too.
For something very different, we have added a rare Denby "Encore" lamp base. It is exactly the sort of slightly unexpected Denby piece we enjoy finding, and a reminder that the larger Denby ranges often extended well beyond everyday dinnerware.
And fans of 1970s Hornsea may appreciate the arrival of several Hornsea "Tobago (Brown)" storage jars, including Tea and Sugar jars plus a Coffee jar missing its lid. As we discussed recently, we keep the odd bits too, so the lidless Coffee jar still has a fighting chance of being useful to somebody.

As always, everything above comes from the pre-loved market. Some pieces arrive in quantity, others appear one at a time, and once they are gone we cannot simply order another box from the manufacturer.
That unpredictability is part of the appeal. One week's crates might contain a stack of Wedgwood plates, another might produce a rare Denby lamp or the missing storage jar somebody has been hunting for.
If you would like to purchase any of the pieces above, follow the collection links to see what is currently available. Alternatively, give us a call on our freephone customer service line 0800 772 3428 and we will be happy to help.
