St Michael "Pemberton"
St Michael Pemberton from Marks & Spencer is a classic bone china design with rich green borders, gilded trim and a white background, produced on elegant shapes which will be familiar to anyone appreciative of Royal Doulton shapes of the same time.
NB The Pemberton design, tends to suffer from tarnishing or discolouration of the gilding, more so than other patterns we have come across (although it's red and blue sister patterns, Connaught & Felsham, have similar issues). The tarnishing can be cleaned up with a little elbow grease and a metal cleaning cloth (we recommend Hagerty Gold Cloth which is available on Amazon).
