Delivery Information

The above is an estimate based on our current workload and staffing levels. 

We endeavour to process and package all orders within 2 to 3 working days (this does not include transit time - please see below). However, this is subject to how busy we are and our current staffing levels (see above for our current estimated processing time). Therefore our guarantee is to process and package all orders within 5 working days of receipt.

If you have already placed your order and need an item urgently, e.g. for an upcoming event, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.

You may also choose to pay for our 'Priority Handling' service at checkout which we aim to process and dispatch next working day.

NB Please note, orders paid by e-cheques (electronic cheques) will be processed and dispatched the next working day after payment has cleared.

Once processed, your order will usually be dispatched the next working day and is then in the hands of the couriers (see below).


UK Mainland (under 3kg) – We dispatch all items under 3kg via Royal Mail 24 (typically 1 to 3 days transit time) or DPD Next Day (1 to 2 working days transit time). You may select which option at checkout.

UK Mainland (exc. Highlands & Islands & N. Ireland) (over 3kg) – We dispatch all items over 3kg via DPD Next Day (1 to 2 days transit time). 

UK Highlands & Islands & N. Ireland (over 3kg) – We dispatch all items over 3kg via Parcelforce or DPD using their 48 hour service (2 to 3 days transit time). 

Deliveries to Commercial Addresses - Delivery to UK commercial addresses, such as hotels and large office complexes, is at the customer's risk. This is due to the additional complexities and opportunities for parcels to go missing, such as high staff numbers, shift changes, multiple entrances and locations where parcels may be left. We will accept the tracking information of our courier as proof of delivery where either a photograph or mapping technology are provided.  We WILL NOT deliver to commercial properties overseas, unless the customer can provide an EORI number. 

International Deliveries - We dispatch to most of Europe (excluding Italy & Spain), Australasia, the Far East, the Middle East, Canada and the USA. You can get a quote for shipping from within the shopping basket before going to checkout. If your destination does not come up as an option when processing checkout, it's possible we do not ship to your destination, but please get in touch and we will do our best to help.

Please note we are unable to ship International parcels to PO Box or commercial addresses.

We mostly use Royal Mail and their International partners for all overseas orders under 2kg. For parcels over 2kg we mostly use Parcelforce for Europe and DHL for the US, Canada and Rest of the World . However, service availability, quality and prices vary from country to country and we reserve the right to change the service at our discretion to ensure the best and safest delivery option.

IMPORTANT - If your order is delivered outside the UK, it may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and handling charges in the destination country, payable by the customer. MrPottery Ltd has no responsibility for these charges and overseas orders should be considered DDU ("Delivered Duty Unpaid"). Since the 1st January 2021 this includes all EU Member States.


NB We do not have shop premises (although we hope to in the future) and do not therefore offer a collection service for local or passing customers due to insurance restrictions.
