Denby Twilight was introduced in 1983 as part of Denby Pottery’s Sherwood Collection, a group of patterns produced on the same distinctive shape designed by Robin Pavitt. The decoration was created by Claire Bernard, whose work defined several of Denby’s most recognisable designs of the period.

The pattern features softly trailing floral motifs in shades of peach, rust and soft brown, set against a pale blue-grey ground with a subtle pink warmth. This gentle colouring gives Twilight a lighter, more delicate appearance compared to some of the stronger designs of the era.

Within the Sherwood Collection, Denby Daybreak proved to be the most widely recognised pattern, with Twilight a popular alternative for those preferring a more understated and refined look.

As a discontinued design, Denby Twilight is sought after by those looking for replacement china to complete or extend an existing set. Availability varies depending on the piece, with some items more difficult to source than others.
