Denby "Spring"

Denby Pottery Spring
Denby Spring is a now hard to find design first issued c. 1954 on Albert Colledge's earlier Peasant Ware shapes, but decorated in a design by Glyn Colledge with stylised leaf and bud design on a white background with grey trim and exterior. Teal and Green versions were also made, although these are more rarely seen and were predominantly made for export to the US. Earlier pieces of Denby Spring (pre 1956) are stamped Bourne and include some different, attractive and rare shapes.
