Denby "Greystone"

Denby Greystone forms part of Denby’s Artisan Collection, which included a mix of patterned and plain designs. Greystone was the first of the plain ranges to be introduced in 1983 and remained in production until the mid-1990s, reflecting its popularity and versatility.

The design is characterised by its clean white glaze, offering a simple and adaptable base that works well as a standalone set or combined with other Artisan designs. It is closely related to patterns such as Denby Camelot and Denby Pampas, which share similar forms and sit within the same broader design family.

Produced during a time of evolving manufacturing processes, Greystone can be found with subtle variations. Some upright pieces, such as cups, jugs and serving ware, appear both with and without the characteristic ring detailing also seen on Camelot and Pampas, adding an extra point of interest for collectors and those looking to match existing items.
