This a round ashtray in Purbeck Pottery's Portland design. While we don't usually sell any pieces with crazing present, buyers of this piece should be aware that the the central part of the ashtray is highly glazed, for the purpose of stubbing out cigarettes. The extreme temperature fluctuations caused by this act, mean that this centre piece is invariably crazed.
