Hornsea "Decorative Ware" Jubilee Bowl
Hornsea "Decorative Ware" Jubilee Bowl
This is a Hornsea Pottery bowl backstamped with a Jubilee stamp, suggesting it was part of a set produced to commemorate the 1977 Silver Jubilee. The other possibility is that it was originally sold with a lid which had some kind of additional decoration. However, we know that a cup and saucer and tea plate were made in the colour scheme for the Silver Jubilee so feel that this was likely to be the accompanying bowl.
