Furnivals

Furnivals
Furnivals, established in 1890, were based in Cobridge in Stoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire. Incorporated to Furnivals (Ltd) in 1895 they were one of, if not the first, pottery in Europe to produce the Blue Denmark design which had earlier been introduced to Europe from the Orient. Their name changed again in 1913 to Furnivals (1913) Ltd which is how they remained until the works was closed in 1968 and the company name and all design rights associated with it was purchased by Enoch Wedgwood (Tunstall) Ltd.
