Spode „Spode's Byron“ Sandwichteller (Serie 2)

Dies ist eine Sandwichschale im Byron-Design von Spode. Es wurde ursprünglich ca. hergestellt. 1937 auf Wunsch von Angus Watson als Premium-Geschenk im Rahmen einer Werbeaktion zum Verkauf ihrer „Skipper Sardines“ verwendet. Es wurden zwei verschiedene Werbeaktionen durchgeführt, bei denen jeweils eine andere Szene (bekannt als „Serie 1“ und „Serie 2“) auf dem Teller zu sehen war. Auf diesem Teller ist „Serie 2“ abgebildet. Die ursprüngliche Schüssel verfügte außerdem über einen Metallgriff, der über die Ränder des Tellers gesteckt wurde, und enthielt eine integrierte Gabel, die heute jedoch nur noch sehr selten zu finden ist. Dieser Artikel wird daher nur als Teller verkauft.
