Poole Pottery Unknown 08A - Blue and Green Sponge Print

Poole Pottery Unknown 08A is an unidentified Poole Pottery design with a loose blue, green and yellow botanical pattern, featuring trailing leaves and softly sponged decoration. 08A is our own reference, used so that customers can find and match pieces while the original factory name remains unknown.

Poole Pottery Unknown 08A is our own reference for a discontinued Poole Pottery design which we have not yet been able to positively identify. The pattern has a fresh, informal feel, with green foliage, soft blue trailing stems and small yellow details against a pale background.

The decoration is similar in spirit to some of Poole’s later garden, herb and botanical designs, where looser printed and sponged motifs were used to give tableware a softer, more relaxed look. Until the correct pattern name can be confirmed, we list it under our Unknown 08A reference to make matching easier for customers.

As with many lesser-known discontinued Poole Pottery designs, availability depends entirely on what becomes available through the pre-loved market. If you recognise this design or know its correct name, we would love to hear from you.
