Johnson Brothers Cherry Blossom is a discontinued design dating from around 1997 to 1999. Its colourful decoration combines deep red cherries, soft peach coloured blossom and fresh green leaves, arranged against a warm white background and finished with a narrow green line around the rim.

The pattern is most commonly found on a gently fluted shape, similar in style to other Johnson Brothers ranges of the period such as Summer Chintz. Cherry Blossom can also be found on a smooth coupe shape, however, with at least one bowl known in this form. We list this as a coupe variation where appropriate so that customers can distinguish between the two shapes when matching existing pieces.

The combination of fruit, flowers and foliage gives Cherry Blossom a bright, informal feel, while the restrained green edging keeps the overall design fresh rather than overly decorative.

As with many discontinued Johnson Brothers ranges, availability varies considerably from piece to piece. When replacing individual items, it is worth checking both the decoration and the shape carefully, particularly where bowl variations are concerned.

At MrPottery we specialise in pre-loved replacement china, helping you find individual Johnson Brothers Cherry Blossom pieces to complete or extend an existing service.
