Grindley

Grindley Pottery wurde 1880 von William Harry Grindley als WH Grindley gegründet. Ursprünglich wurde es als Partnerschaft mit Alfred Meakin am Standort Newfield Pottery gegründet, doch 1884 trennten sich ihre Wege und Grindley machte alleine weiter. Im Jahr 1891 wurde die Töpferei in die Woodland Pottery verlegt.

1960 wurde WH Grindley von Alfred Clough übernommen und das Unternehmen in Grindley of Stoke umbenannt. 1982 wurde es von den Federated Potteries aufgekauft, 1988 jedoch als WH Grindley wieder zurückgekauft. Leider ging das Unternehmen 1991 unter Konkurs und wurde von der Woodlands Pottery übernommen.
