Dies ist die große Landschildkröte aus der Familie der Landschildkröten. Sie wurde 1958 eingeführt und allgemein als Papa-Schildkröte bezeichnet. Wade bezeichnete es in seiner Literatur als „Papa ist ein Aschenbecher“. Es verfügt über einen abnehmbaren Deckel (die Schale), der einen flachen Aschenbecher freigibt.
