Beswick Pottery

Beswick Pottery
Beswick Pottery was founded in 1894 by James Wright Beswick and his sons in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, Beswick Pottery quickly became renowned for its fine earthenware and high-quality figurines. Early production focused on tableware, but from the 1930s onwards Beswick gained fame for its beautifully modelled animals and character figures, including beloved Beatrix Potter characters and the famous Champion thoroughbred horses.

In 1969, Beswick was acquired by Royal Doulton, under whose ownership many of its most iconic designs continued to be produced. The Beswick name was eventually discontinued in 2002, making its pieces highly sought after by collectors today.

These charming, well-crafted items remain enduring examples of British ceramic artistry, and for those seeking replacement pieces or to complete a cherished collection, MrPottery is pleased to offer selected Beswick china and figurines.
