  • Is blue pacific dishwasher proof

    Wedgwood Blue Pacific was made at a time when dishwashers were not in every household, and so pieces while often marked as oven proof (as it was sold as oven to tableware), they are not marked as dishwasher proof. It is a very robust tableware and would have been fired at high temperatures in production. If it was made today it would likely be sold as being dishwasher safe. However, we are aware that with age this is a design which tends to suffer from crazing which can be caused by repeated exposure to high and low temperatures, weakening the glaze. We are therefore, unable to guarantee it is suitable for dishwasher use.
