St Michael "Blackberries"

St Michael Blackberries was sold by Marks & Spencer under the St Michael name and may also be described as M&S or Marks & Spencer Blackberries. The design is centred around blackberry decoration, using blue and yellow as the main colours with small touches of green in the foliage.

Plates usually show a central blackberry motif, while taller pieces such as cups, jugs and teapots use a banded blackberry border around the body. Some items have stronger blue borders and others carry more yellow, so the pattern has a lively coordinated look rather than a single flat colour arrangement.
