Spode "Chinese Rose"

Spode Chinese Rose is one of Spode's most popular and most colourful designs. While the exact design has varied a little over the years it originates from the early 1900's making it Spode's longest running pattern. The pattern as we know it today (or at least as we knew it when it was discontinued to much outcry in 2007) was issued in 1958 however. Due to the longevity of the design there are many pieces to collect, although despite it's prolific production, pieces in excellent condition are increasingly hard to come by, partly because owners want to keep it!
