Poole Pottery "Fleur"

Poole Pottery Fleur is a pretty discontinued floral tableware design from Poole Pottery. Reliable published information about the pattern appears to be limited, so we avoid giving a firm designer or production date unless a catalogue reference comes to light.

The design features a busy but delicate spray of small flowers in soft blue, pink, yellow and white tones, with pale green foliage and a fine blue rim. The overall effect is fresh and decorative, with a gentle floral look that feels very much in keeping with Poole’s softer tableware designs.

Fleur has a lighter, more traditional floral character than Poole’s bolder studio-inspired or strongly coloured ranges. Its creamy white ground and pastel flower sprays make it an easy pattern to live with, while the blue edging gives the pieces a neat, finished appearance.
