Poole Pottery Figures - Grey Glaze brings together decorative earthenware animal models produced by Poole Pottery in a pale grey glazed finish. The colour is soft and understated, allowing the modelling and shape of each figure to take the lead.

We are aware of mouse figures produced in this glaze, including small rounded models with simple, appealing forms. The plain glazed finish suits these pieces well, highlighting the ears, body shape and gentle modelling without the need for additional painted decoration.

Poole produced animal figures in a variety of glazes and finishes over the years, from earlier earthenware models to later decorative and collectible pieces.
