Poole Pottery "Decorative - Miscellaneous"

Poole Pottery Decorative Ware

Poole Pottery Decorative Miscellaneous covers the many individual decorative, commemorative and giftware pieces produced by Poole over the years. These pieces do not always belong to a named tableware range or long-running collection, but they remain an important part of Poole’s story.

Read more about Poole Decorative Miscellaneous

Poole Pottery Decorative Miscellaneous brings together the decorative and giftware pieces that sit outside Poole’s better known named ranges. This can include commemorative mugs, planters, vases, small dishes, animal figures, wall plaques, collector’s pieces and other individual items that do not fit neatly into a longer-running tableware or decorative collection.

Poole produced a wide variety of decorative wares throughout its history, from studio-inspired vases and plaques to tourist, royal and commemorative items. Some were made as small ranges, some as one-off or short-run designs, and others as giftware pieces intended to sit alongside the factory’s wider tableware and decorative output.

This collection is useful for customers looking for something a little more unusual from Poole Pottery. The pieces may not always be part of a complete dinner or tea service, but they often show the same interest in shape, glaze, colour and surface decoration that made Poole such a distinctive British pottery.

Because these items vary so widely, availability can change significantly depending on what becomes available through the pre-loved market. Some pieces may be familiar commemorative designs, while others may be less easily identified decorative wares, oddments or small production pieces.

If you are trying to match a specific Poole decorative item, or you are unsure whether a piece belongs to a named range, please feel free to get in touch. We are always happy to help with Poole Pottery identification where we can.
