QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • Is it microwave safe

Marks & Spencer "Autumn Leaves" was originally made when microwaves were just becoming common household items. While early pieces are not marked as such, later pieces were marked as dishwasher and microwave safe. We are not aware of any changes in the manufacturing process to facilitate this, so feel it is likely that it is microwave safe. Furthermore, it was made by Hornsea Pottery who predominantly made oven to tableware which is generally able to withstand very high temperatures. In summary.... probably, but as Hornsea are no longer around to ask, we are unable to provide any guarantees in this respect.
