M & S "Maxim"

M & S Maxim

M & S Maxim is a discontinued Marks & Spencer white tableware range, found in a mixture of rimmed, coupe, square and scalloped shapes. Because the design is plain, shape and size are especially important when matching replacement pieces.

Read more about Maxim

M & S Maxim was sold by Marks & Spencer as a clean white tableware range. Rather than relying on printed decoration, the interest comes from the shape of the pieces, with rimmed, coupe, square and scalloped forms all appearing within the broader Maxim range.

This makes Maxim slightly different from many named M&S patterns, as matching is often more about shape than colour or motif. A coupe plate, rimmed bowl, square dish or scalloped item may all belong to the wider Maxim family, but they will not necessarily match one another in shape.

Pieces found in the range include plates, bowls, tea cups, coffee cups and saucers. Handle style and cup shape are also worth checking carefully, particularly where flat-handled cups and coupe saucers are concerned.

As M & S Maxim is discontinued tableware, replacement pieces are usually found through the pre-loved market. Availability can vary, but individual plates, bowls, cups and saucers are useful for completing a set, extending an everyday service or matching a favourite Marks & Spencer plain white range.

At MrPottery we organise our available stock by pattern, shape and colour, with clear product details and condition grading to help you choose the best match for your existing M&S Maxim tableware.
