M & S "Andante"

M & S Andante was sold by Marks & Spencer and is sometimes listed as M&S, Marks & Spencer or St Michael Andante, depending on how a piece has been described. The range is recognisable by its simple contemporary look, with plain colourways, rounded pieces and square plates or bowls often mixed together.

Known Andante colours include white, cream, brown, duck egg blue, blue, green and red. Pieces most often seen include dinner plates, side plates, soup or cereal bowls, pasta bowls, mugs and larger soup or breakfast cups. When matching, check both the colour and the shape, as round and square versions can sit alongside one another in the same wider range.

There is also a related Andante Leaves design, including red leaf-patterned pieces, which may appear with Andante collections but is visually different from the plainer tableware. If you are replacing a single piece, compare the shape, colour and any printed decoration carefully before ordering.
