Johnson Brothers Jamestown was produced from 1965 to 1985 and belongs to the Old Granite series of Johnson Brothers tableware. The pattern is most familiar in brown, with a floral urn centre, small stylised flowers and a geometric border on a warm cream-toned ground.

For customers looking to replace a dinner plate, add extra bowls, find teaware, or build up a larger service, Jamestown is a useful and attractive discontinued pattern. The Old Granite base gives it a slightly heavier, more rustic feel than some finer Johnson Brothers ranges, making it well suited to everyday country-style tableware.

The Johnson Brothers book also records a blue version of Jamestown, so colour and backstamp are worth checking carefully when matching pieces. As with many discontinued Johnson Brothers patterns, availability varies by item, so please check our current stock if you are trying to complete, extend or carefully match an existing Jamestown set.
