Johnson Brothers Devonshire is an attractive older design with a rich brown floral border, touches of red, blue, green and yellow, and a distinctive pie crust edge. Decorative without being too formal, it has the warm, traditional character often associated with vintage Johnson Brothers tableware.

Johnson Brothers Devonshire is one of the older Johnson Brothers patterns, with reference material placing the design from the 1930s through to around 1970. The best-known version features a brown multicolour floral border on a white ground, with a moulded, fluted edge that gives the pieces a very traditional feel.

For customers looking to replace a broken plate, add extra bowls, or build up a vintage Johnson Brothers service, Devonshire is a charming and characterful choice. The patterned border gives it plenty of presence on the table, while the mostly white centre keeps the overall look balanced and usable.

Devonshire was produced in more than one colour treatment, including brown multicolour and pink multicolour versions, along with plainer blue and green examples. As with many older discontinued Johnson Brothers designs, availability can vary by piece and colourway, so it is worth checking our current stock if you are trying to complete, extend or carefully match your set.
