Denby Truffle was first introduced in 2007 as part of Denby’s move towards softer, more neutral colour palettes suited to modern interiors. Its blend of cream, taupe and deep brown tones creates a versatile and understated look, ideal for both everyday use and more formal settings.

The range offers flexibility in styling, with customers often choosing to mix the core Truffle design with Denby Truffle Layers, an accent variation featuring shaded, hand-painted stripe detailing. This allows for a personalised table setting while maintaining a cohesive overall look.

In addition, plates are found in both wide-banded and narrow rimmed versions, giving further scope to mix and match pieces depending on preference.

As with many Denby designs, Truffle has proven popular and practical, and being discontinued what we offer comes from the pre-loved market. Availability can therefore vary depending on the piece and version.

When matching Denby Truffle, it is worth noting that variations can occur in the depth of the brown glaze and the tone of the lighter areas, particularly between different production runs. These subtle differences are part of the design’s character and sit comfortably together when used as a set.
