Denby Regency Cutlery (Blue) was initially produced in the late 1960s to accompany the Denby Chatsworth range, extending the look of the table beyond pottery and into matching table accessories. With its glazed ceramic handles and stainless steel fittings, it reflects Denby’s wider approach to coordinated dining during this period.
The design features richly glazed blue handles with a rounded end and fluted detailing, giving the pieces a strong Denby character while remaining practical for regular use. Although originally associated with Chatsworth, the blue colourway also works well alongside a number of other Denby designs, including later ranges such as Denby Imperial Blue.
The range included the core place setting pieces, with dinner knives, dinner forks, soup spoons, dessert knives, dessert forks, dessert spoons and teaspoons, along with matching salad servers. This made it possible to create a fully coordinated table setting with Denby pottery and accessories working together.
Now discontinued, Denby Regency Cutlery (Blue) is sought after by those looking to replace missing pieces, complete an existing canteen, or add period-correct accessories to a Denby table setting. Availability can vary depending on the piece, as stock depends on what becomes available in the pre-loved market.
