Denby Mugs – Birds of a Feather, sometimes referred to as Denby Bird Mugs, is a decorative series produced as part of Denby’s collaboration with Fleur Cowles. The designs are based on original watercolours by John Morland, bringing a soft and naturalistic feel to each piece.
The set features four familiar British garden birds, a blue tit, a chaffinch, a robin and a wren, each carefully illustrated with gentle colour and fine detail. The simplicity of the white background allows the artwork to stand out, giving the mugs a clean yet characterful appearance.
Produced as a small coordinated group rather than a full tableware range, these mugs have become popular with both collectors and those looking for distinctive everyday pieces.
Now discontinued, Birds of a Feather remains sought after by customers looking to complete a set or replace a favourite mug. Availability can vary depending on the design, as supply is dependent on what becomes available in the pre loved market.
