Featuring a charming daisy-like motif set against a green background with a contrasting rust-coloured border, Denby Daybreak is a distinctive and easily recognisable design. The combination of floral decoration and warm earthy tones gives the range a fresh yet traditional feel.

As the first design produced on the Sherwood shape, Daybreak combines practical proportions with gently curved forms, making it both durable and versatile for everyday use. Related Sherwood designs include Blue Dawn and Twilight, which share the same underlying shapes but differ in colourway and decoration.

The range proved very popular following its introduction, and additional items were added over time, resulting in an extensive selection of tableware, serving pieces and accessories.

Produced over a number of years, variations can be found in the intensity of the brown flecking and in the depth of the rust border, which may differ slightly between pieces. These variations are typical of Denby production and can be of interest to collectors and those matching existing items.

As is often the case with popular discontinued patterns, certain items such as dinner plates, salad plates, mugs and dessert bowls can be more difficult to find, particularly in excellent condition.

As a now discontinued pattern, Denby Daybreak remains sought after by those looking for replacement china to complete or extend their existing set. Availability can vary depending on the piece, as supply is dependent on what becomes available in the pre-loved market.

We regularly source Denby Daybreak from the pre-loved market, so availability changes frequently.
