Produced on Denby’s elegant Sherwood shape, Blue Dawn followed the success of Daybreak and Twilight, offering a similarly attractive form combined with a calmer, more understated blue palette.
The design features a soft blue ground with delicate floral decoration, giving it a lighter and more relaxed feel compared with some of the more vibrant Sherwood patterns.
Although not produced as prolifically as Daybreak, it remained a popular choice and, like many blue Denby patterns, proved especially successful with customers.
Blue Dawn was discontinued in 1987, making it a relatively short-run design compared with some other Denby ranges of the period.
We regularly source Denby Blue Dawn from the pre-loved market, so availability changes frequently.
