Denby "Manor Green" Saucers, Deep

This is the deep saucer for the discontinued Denby "Manor Green" design. 

There is a lot of confusion surrounding the Denby Manor Green Saucers over which saucers were intended for which purpose. Some people say they were simply made at different times, while others believe one was for the cups and the other was for the soup dishes. 

We tend to support the latter theory in that the wider flatter saucer would be more appropriate for a soup dish, being wide enough for a soup spoon and / or even a wafer. That said, it doesn't matter, because both sizes will fit both items so whichever you have, is just fine as long as you are happy with it. 

Top Tip: The deeper saucers are easier for carrying cups of tea!
