Adams "Singapore Bird"

Adams Singapore Bird
Adams Singapore Bird is a beautiful design from the Adams pottery, part of their Calyx Ware range, which dates back to the 1940s. It was an understandable best seller, and so in 1966 when Wedgwood took over the Adams works, they continued to produce the range for many years to come. In fact it was not until 1984 that is was discontinued, along with all other Calyx Ware ranges, due to the new restrictions placed upon potteries by Britains new clean air requirements.
