Fresh October Stock, Wedgwood Angela, Poole Fresco, Hornsea Contrast and More
Geposted von Mike Eley am

Another varied batch of pre-loved tableware has made its way onto the MrPottery shelves, with a mixture of newly catalogued pieces and useful additions to ranges we already stock.
This week's arrivals are particularly good for Wedgwood Angela, Poole Pottery Fresco, Poole Pottery Springtime and Hornsea Contrast, while we have also added several pieces to the catalogue for the first time, including a Marks & Spencer Rocco teapot, a Hornsea Ebony butter dish and mugs from John Lewis, Next and Johnson Brothers.
A few highlights
Wedgwood "Angela (Fluted Edge)" is probably the strongest addition this time. A 2.5 pint teapot, milk jug and lidded sugar bowl have all joined the catalogue, while tea cups, saucers and tea plates have also been replenished. Together they make a useful little tea service rather than simply a handful of unrelated replacements.
There has also been a good arrival of Poole Pottery "Fresco" in the Terracotta colourway, including breakfast or salad plates, breakfast cups and saucers and soup or cereal bowls. Fresco remains one of Poole's more distinctive later tableware ranges, and it is always pleasing when several useful everyday pieces arrive together.
Poole Pottery "Springtime" has gained a milk jug and tea cups, while the already healthy stock of tea saucers has increased further. Springtime is one of those patterns where cups and saucers are still very much used rather than simply collected, so replacements tend to find homes.
There are also seven Hornsea "Contrast" breakfast/salad plates newly back in stock, together with a rather less common Hornsea "Ebony" butter dish which is completely new to our catalogue.
Elsewhere, Denby "Potters Wheel (Rust)" has gained soup/cereal bowls, while Royal Doulton "Rondelay" has received dinner and tea plates.
And among the more contemporary arrivals are the newly catalogued Marks & Spencer "Rocco" teapot, Next "Hamish The Highland Cow" mugs and John Lewis "ANYDAY Eat" mugs.

As always, everything above comes from the pre-loved market, so quantities vary and some pieces may disappear again fairly quickly.
That is particularly true of the one-off pieces. A teapot, butter dish or money box may be the only example we have, while cups, saucers and plates can sometimes arrive in useful little groups.
If you would like to purchase any of the pieces above, follow the collection links to see what is currently available. Alternatively, give us a call on our freephone customer service line 0800 772 3428 and we will be happy to help.
